I have a feeling you're right on that one. Trucks left the suspected WMD areas just before the war headed to Syria, then after the war trucks full of explosives and chemicals were captured. Also plans to kill 60,000 and maim twice that many. That story was quickly buried.

Then there were the "farm chemicals" buried in bunkers. You can combine some farm chemicals and get some nasty stuff. Roundup is so close to nerve gas you should get the willies going into a garden store.

I had a friend who spent 4 months in Iraq who told me that large sections of both rivers have dead areas, nothing lives there. No snakes, turtles, frogs or fish.
