I'm not a psychologist...but Anthony strikes me as a man who suffers from a condition known as "Narcissistic Personality Disorder". mentalhealth.com If you observed his antics over the past years, you can't help but notice how much he craved attention,and how much he tried to affect a sort of financial "James Bond" persona. Yes, there was enough public info on these scams, but I think Anthony enjoyed the idea of getting involved with the FBI rogue agent. I believe he craved the aura of excitement as much as he wanted the money. He was a narcissist, and ultimately - like many failed con-artists - he was tripped up by his own hubris.
