Taikun,

I don't think your ideas hang together very well, and I've tried to explain why. I can't base conclusions on simple tabloid discussion by a non-scientific reporter featuring a one-sentence quote by a scientist talking about a different geographical location.

To consider this further I'd have to see a direct, detailed cause and effect statement by a reputable group of scientists specifically supporting the theory that the recent Sumatra quake was caused by global warming.
