I'm not interested in rehashing how we have demonized Saddam in order to go to war in Iraq much more, Jewel. This is the view of many people, including people in the CIA who were on the ground when it all happened. It is even questionable whether Saddam gassed the Kurds--George Bush's rallying cry. I believe that was how the conservation started, anyway. I could be wrong, but am too tired to go back and look. In any event, it will be interesting when he goes to trial and some of the evidence that we have made Saddam look even worse than he is comes out. If he ever goes to trial.
