What are you talking about?! No one on this thread is trying to destroy any aspect of religion in the USA; rather, the "secularists" as you call them are trying to maintain the status quo!

You can't use government funds or buildings to promote your specific religion. That's the way it is and has been for as long as I've been alive. That promotes equality of all religions, keeps the government out of religious issues, and doesn't "destroy" any religious or cultural traditions.

My tax dollars are to be used to fight disease, not to teach Yiddish!
