I am sad for my kids and all those coming after them. But then, I am just like MY parents, who were also sad for all those things that were disappearing. For instance I still remember how blue the skies were. They're not anymore, not here at least- but hey, Munich airport is breaking all kinds of records. And, er, I got used to it and the kids are used to it from birth anyhow. Take a bedouin: there's nothing more beautiful for him than a desert.

Of course, what will be decisive for our/their reactions and impressions, when it hits, is the RATE of change.
