If we are willing to admit personality is genetically linked in dog and cat breeds, then what is the scientific basis for denying ALL such links in humans? Could you comment on this last issue? I'd be very interested in your take on it! TIA!
One big difference is we put down all unpleasing cats and dogs that no one will take in.
But, putting that aside, humans (asians, Africans, and europeans are more similiar in appearance than, say, between a great dane and a poodle.
Also putting all that aside, what is the scientific basis for denying such links (or differences)?
There is no scientific reason to deny anything.
If race A score 10 percent higher on IQ test (provided these tests are truly valid) than race B but 5% lower than race C, what does that say about Abdul, Buffy, or Chang?
It says nothing about Abdul, Buffy, or Chang. Why do we have to force any one of these individual to carry the weight of the short comings of a group that numbers in billions?
Until we know what is what, the majority of us , who knows practically nothng about these scientific matters (myself included) should be very humble and stay away from pushing our views in these subjects onto others. |
