Do you support the elimination of racial classifications from all government forms? Do you support the elimination of racial classifications from all government programs? If so, why? If not, why not?

If I am force to answer with a Yes or No, I would say yes. It probably does far more harm than good.

I have a very close family member in a second marriage to another person in a second marriage. Both have children from a previous marriage. The grandchildren have parents and grandparents that are pure Irish, Norwegian, Asian, and Afro American (btw all the children are stunningly beautiful and extremely succesful).

It pains me to think that these kids would have to classify themselves in racial terms.

All that not withstanding, if we are able to gather as much information about ourselves (provided it does not have a high direct cost), the information, no matter how flawed, could be interesting to look at or to study from it.

But, given human nature and what the conditions are today, I would answer that with a soft Yes.
