gotta take you to task on this one. breen's use of 911 to hurt elgindy was imo a CLEAR abuse of power. nothing more than a cheap trick typically used in civil cases by bottom dwelling attorneys. the ausa should behave and be held to a higher standard.

that said, i do not doubt breen knows the issues surrounding this case. in the one and only call i have had with him, (months ago), he brought up, from memory a number of old posts and from emschweiller's book i'd made attacking elgindy. he was VERY well prepared. his strategy seemed to be, get an fbi agent on the call, (so he had a witness), lure me into a sense of confidence, then (my guess from his history), get me to tell a white lie about this or that so he could charge me with obstruction and use the pressure of the charge to get me to do a bob hansen. luckily i'd done my homework on him beforehand so i didn't fall prey to the game. it was a very short call.

>>>However, in this case and in most high profile cases, the prosecutors know their stuff so posts that they "had it out for someone," or that they had no idea how the stock business operates, are just absurd, and that's being polite.
