Google and Yahoo are introducing services that will let users search through television programs based on words spoken on the air.

I used to use a service that did that. It was neat. Can't remember the name or find the old bookmark. I will definitely use it. I found it useful for keeping up with a story because there are often tidbits on TV that don't show up in news articles. I remember using it when Sean Elliott had his kidney transplant.
