My belief is that we have reached the point when they (boyz, and specs) will put a run on the USD, and pile into flucht in die sachwerte trades (buy oil, gold, real goods,etc) if the Fed continues with "measured" tightening.

if this is true, isn't the opposite also true? if they give up on their tightening, the dollar will get trashed and people will pile into their real goods trades?
