It isn't very predictable Altie, the mountain could feasibly rebuilt itself and grow higher than it was previous to the 1980 eruption...

They are a work in progress. The geologists think it is slowing down it's activity a bit now, which would allow the cap (dome) to harden, which means future activity could blow the thing off again. There was an eruption up there on the 16th that threw a burst of 2-3' boulders a couple of hundred meters and destroyed a new camera and instruments the scientists had just put in place.
