January 2005 – This Gartner brief profiles Proginet’s recently-announced acquisition of Blockade Systems' major assets and product lines, in addition to its customer base.
"Gartner believes this (acquisition) is a sensible consolidation of niche vendors in a mature market, particularly for password management." The brief goes on to note that by gaining a foothold in the user provisioning (UP) market, "Proginet will gain the opportunity to cross-sell UP to its password management customers, and perhaps to its file transfer customers."
