I agree 1M or even 2M Smithfields is about the right number for Intel in 2H2005 from a desktop demand standpoint. But IMO, pricing the 2.8 and 3.0 at $314 and $240 will marginalize demand for 3.6 and 3.8 GHz P4s. I personally would rather have a Smithfield dual 3.0 than a 3.8 GHz P4. Petz
