Z, Of course! That's my point! Some of the Founding Fathers didn't see eye to eye with the others, so why are their opinions any more valid than ours? Just because they didn't have 100% consensus doesn't mean that their collective ideals have no value. On the other hand, just because the Founding Fathers agreed on it doesn't mean that that's the way things should be today. Slavery is a good example. That's probably the point you're trying to make.
