Robert, licensing and royalties decline as a percentage...

...on the backdrop of escalating total revenues.

A more honest depiction would include total revenues over the same time period.

Yes, there is not a clear relationship between growing total flash market revenues (all suppliers)
and L & R for SanDisk. This is disappointing. It remains unclear if Samsung will license MLC
and whether or not competitors just entering the market will be required to purchase licenses.

Eli said that this company would never grow on the basis of L & R alone. The launch of multiple
new products and diversification into previously untapped markets (MP3, smart USB devices, handsets...)
will be the eventual determinants of success. We need to see the major handset players adopting
SD-based variants. This is a proprietary standard and a product which could set SNDK ahead of the pack.
