I read "1984" and "Animal Farm", so you are incorrect in what I do, or do not have a clue on. GW is not a tyrant that wants to rule the world. Under the circumstances with Islamic fanatics, serious measures are needed, which will make some people uneasy, but what would you have the government do? Just throw us out into the woods to try and protect ourselves, as individuals, against the prowling forces of the Islamic jihad?
America will never be ruined, for good. The checks and balances in the operation of government will prevail. There have been several attempts of a President trying to be a dictator in America, FDR being a prime example, but they have been rebuffed before any permanent damage was done. Severe security measures have never lasted longer than was necessary for protection, and things have always returned to normal after the crisis was over. What is happening today, is no different than what has happened before.
If you want to be a scaredy cat, and hide your head in the sand, while bemoaning the current situation, be my guest. All you are doing is wasting your time, and effort.
