Yes, there is not a clear relationship between growing total flash market revenues (all suppliers)
and L & R for SanDisk. This is disappointing.


This is really all I've been trying to say. Maybe some never placed too much emphasis on this but I always gained some comfort that SNDK's fortunes were tied to the overall growth of the market. If R & L continues to decline as a % of total revenue, then the company is more and more at the mercy of price fluctuations which can be severe and unpredictable. Some might even argue that this is becoming a commodity market and Sandisk's fate is tied to the decisions (good or bad) of their competitors. If gross margins keep dropping, this industry is going to start to resemble the DRAM or disk drive industry.
