You should ask the Chinese who suffered the enormity of the cruelty inflicted by the Japanese -- do you understand what Japan did in China? Do you have any idea how many millions of innocent people were butchered? Do you understand that Japan preferred biological war over nuclear war and used the China as its laboratory? By the way, do you know what happened to the lead "scientist" who dreamed up Japanese biological mass murder -- if you guessed that he ended up happily on the US payroll sharing his "techniques" then you would be right. You hear about the Jews in Europe -- a horror beyond comprehension. But you seem not to know of the horror of the occupation of China. Accept an inch of torture and it becomes pervasive. My response to the cavalier attitude towards torture expressed on this thread is that I am simply appalled and disgusted. Try making jokes with Nadine about the gas chambers, or swapping stories about the best ways to kill Jews and I think you will get a similar response.
