Hi Alan,

Yes - I agree that Brokers probably attacked Bob in the past because of his advice to listeners to buy low cost no-load mutual funds. I'm sure from their point of view, Bob's advice steared may away from paying brokers sales commissions.

But I'm talking about investors having one investment philosophy who attack other investors with a different investment philosophy. I don't see why anyone would be motivated to attack someone just based on a differing view of how to invest. I'm NOT referring to disgruntled investors attacking investment advisors over a wrong call on a stock or mutual fund. I'm solely focused on differing investment philosophy as being the motivator for an attack. It makes no sense to me that there are lots of investors out there waiting to attack those who have different views on how to invest.
