Ted, The world order is changing because we have a neocon evangelist at the helm.......and those changes are not to our advantage. The changes were inevitable. The EU wants to pursue its fantasies of being a world superpower, while China is already on the road to becoming one itself. Unbelievable how you twist things around to fit the mess that your president has created. The superpower fantasies that the EU was pursuing prior to Mr. Bush were economic ones, not militaristic. Bush has changed all that. As for China its been a military superpower for years........to whom do you think we lost Vietnam? Your ideas of appeasement would only weaken America's standing with the world. No need to tell me that we all ought to turn the other cheek, because that requires something that would greatly offend you. How you struggle to speak plainly.
