It appears that we are having a war to create terrorists. re: Kind of interesting that the leading adversaries of said Cold War are now both involved in Hot Wars against Muslim Insurgents - or Terrorists, definition pending the political orientation of the observant... Not really interesting. Except that you lump together the motives of the US and Russia. Insurgents, freedom fighters, occupation fighters, terrorists, founding fathers; you are right, it all depends on your perspective. Who's perspective is more important in the Iraq war, the US's or the Iraqi's? I guess history will be written by the (ultimate) victors. John
