How about another step to discuss Robert Vesco too? Probably not. It was the U.S. government who wanted Vesco sprung from Cuba, and then changed its mind when the operation was already underway. Apparently they were afraid that Vesco's ties to Richard Nixon and other politicians would make the news once again.
