Fess up Mike, you've been draft happy for years and have consistently underestimated the effects other enlisted tools have had. :)

I spent my last 10 years on active duty in the all volunteer Army and enjoyed it.

I have been predicting a coming recruiting shortfall, based on historic precedence since last summer. I have been seeking anecdotal evidence to support my contention. I now have it.

A Major General announced in the past week or two that the recruiting tools being used now are not getting the job done. Recruiters I have spoken to, in NC in Dec and Idaho in Dec and January, confirm the shortfall. That is a lot of evidence.

Do you have any recent evidence indicating combat arms recruiting is "NOT" in trouble?
