I have heard it said that religion was invented to control the masses. I do believe it is used to do just that. What corrupts religion is the touch of mankind and it's interpretation as a means to glory. God didn't create such a system full of flaws. The religious sorts constitute a large voting block and can easily be manipulated by using the name of "God". Few people dare question those that quote the Bible. Perhaps too much Hell and Damnation has been tattooed into the neurotransmitters in our craniums. How can they believe that Christ would support a rally cry that unites millions of men to kill others? We breed and we bleed for those that create the illusion that we wish to believe in..............."The land of the free and the home of the brave."
