The EEOC is representing the plaintiffs in the Oberto case, not private lawyers, which means, ultimately, that the Justice Department will step in to handle the case if it goes to trial. So they've met the government's threshold for prosecution.

I don't know what it means out there, but here they don't take frivolous cases.

As for what constitutes "reasonable" -- I'd like to reserve judgment until I have at least read the EEOC complaint.
