But Kid, she's an expert in MO rednecks (how else would she know how well it captures them?), so presumably she's met one of them. Maybe he or she said the term didn't offend them. Maybe she thinks "redneck" is a term of endearment. Perhaps the mick should have checked Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org ;-) PS: I did NOT just now insert the word "redneck" into Wikipedia's list of ethnic slurs just to make a point here.
