To Mr. Platten: I spoke to you briefly and recommended sending each shareholder four cigars. "A Better Idea" is to send Rush Limbaugh a few smaller containers of your cigars. I was listening when he recieved some cigars and the play he gave them, though not his brand, was fabulous. There is no bigger cigar fan in America than Rush. I think something like "A Progressive Cigar for THE Conservative Cigar Smoker". What's to lose?

I decided to check out this folder because I noticed that humidors are even being added to convienience stores in my area, and that the majority of the cigars in them are Dominican. I pulled the last 7 days of chat up, and I have to tell you that this folder is the most frightening thing about this stock. It's like looking into a pit of fighting dogs. We have ringer 5396 alternately laughing and snarling, banter going on directly between some posters, some looking at their toes, others pining at the sky, we even have poor uninformed uwcman advising the company's CEO to invest his $500,000 elseware. With investors such as this no wonder their having hell. To me it's simple: if you like it, get in; if you don't get out!! I personally see some potential. Even if I didn't I'd buy a few shares just to remind myself to come back to this folder to see what the biting dogs do to my post!!

CURLS195 In the begining there was PWPH and then were was created TACN and now DCGR. If you read the whole story you will know were some people are coming from. When sombody says this stock is going to the moon on this board ,we really think we just got into the space program. I have never been in so many different businesses with one stock in my life.

G Horne 1496 Thanks for the suggestion, they are on there way! Don Platten

For you who have been giving the new Pres/CEO, Don Platten, a hard time...you should wake up! If it weren't for the efforts of the PowerPhone people to extricate the shareholders of the company from the clutches of Reyes and find a legitimate business and CEo in Don Plaatten, you all would be washing the windows of your "Range Rover" with TACN stock certificates. (and I my Honda..)
As voiced on this board before...many of you believe that the ethics and veractiy of a CEO are unimportant...as long as your stock goes up. I hope you have been educated by this experience. Anyone on this board who visited Reyes at his office ultimately knew that he was all smoke and mirrors and could not complete a single deal because everyone eventually saw through him. Luckily the PowerPhone board were smart enough to have an escape clause to remove the madness who some of you endearingly referred to as the "Good Dr."
Now while many of you wish you weren't in this stock, you have apparently remained because you would sustain big losses if you were to sell. You should put the past experience with Reyes behind you and be thankful that there is now hope in recouping your investment and perhaps even making a profit!
I have independantly verified with business associates in the Dominican Republic that the companies stated in the press releases are real. I have also verified with others in the States that a real going concern exists and is operating. This I have done for myself and not for this board. I suggest you do the same.
At least you now have a real company with a real business behind your stock certificates. You also have a CEO with whom you can speak (and who hasn't had his outgoing phone service from hif home cut off for a year because of non-payment).
What this all means in terms of stock value remains unclear until we see some "certified" numbers. In the meantime, why don't all of you just sit back until the annual meeting and then attend it. You can ask your questions and satisfy yourselves.
Give this guy Platten some breathing room in the meantime for your own sake as shareholders. Don't waste his time by making him come on this board to defend or refute nonsense related to Reyes. Let him concentrate on making a successful company for you. Besides, if you keep up the juvinile "TACN BOARD" type discussions, you are going to scare off many sensible potential investors.
It would be more productive at this time to give Platten some "positive" ideas as was done with the "Rush" suggestion. The fact that Platten took the suggestion and was not threatened by someone elses imput, is a good indication that you have someone who has the company's interest and success in mind ( and not a twisted Ego). Maybe all of you can contribute to your own investment rather than destroying it. (What a novel idea..."creating " wealth!

Reason DCGR working with pwph people=Ceo of DCGR and head of Princeton (TACN millions in profits) Research are acquaintances. One put the other in touch. Good or Bad??!!

Like many of you, I have been holding this stock from the PWPH days and have shared the enormous frustration over the past year. One of the biggest problems with the TACN folks was a lack of credible strategic planning, but moreover, a lack of honest communication. I for one am impressed that Don Platten reads these boards, responds in a prompt and articulate manner, and reacts to criticism and suggestions. That openness is a welcome relief. All of us as shareholders have a responsibility to help this company -- sales as we all know are the key and I want to do what I can to help promote them. Selling cigars is different than urea or lumber or other products. Although I am not a regular cigar smoker (I may now become one), I would like to get my hands on a handful of our cigars and I will share them with friends who smoke cigars regularly and with other potential outlets. Don, since this is all new to many of us, and since I personally don't know much about cigars, where can I get a product catalogue? Is there a way to purchase say a box or two directly from the company? Are there samples shareholders can get from you? What else can we do to help sales? Frankly, I am excited about owning a part of this new venture -- it sure beats the alternative of what we have had. Thanks in advance for your response.

RTHERB:
I liked your post, and, what you referred to is absolutely correct. Revenues, profits, and some honest communication will go a long way to helping this company's future. This is a group that appears to understand that from a good p.r. perspective.
As I have mentioned, I think these people know cigars... and they know how to market. That should go along way in this high demand cigar market The stock is showing some real signs of life, and so lets help it in every (honest) way we can. If taking the product around and introducing it to people will help, then lets do it!
This stock is still a good bargain at these prices, and I will be adding some more this week
