If you look at gold in rand, which one should for RSA stocks,
the gold bull was in 2000/2001, when it about doubled.
It topped out near 3500R in early 2002, and has been in a
decline since, currently near 2500R.

Being bearish on the dollar in order to get gold up sounds great,
unless you are a miner paying expenses in strong rand, $A, $C, etc...
The RSA stocks with most RSA exposure (DROOY/HMY) have been killed,
while more diversified ones (GFI/AU) are doing OK.
