Alan, I get nervous and then I get mad with nothing to dispel the fact that many of our countrymen have become mobs led by warmongers. I say leave other people alone and let them work out their own problems. Is it wrong to want to possess some individuality without being called unpatriotic when the warmongers say you are either for us or against us? I don't want to become part of this mob. We were fighting for freedom in WWll. Now it's hard to tell just what we are fighting for unless it is to enrich corporate neocons. Look at what that is getting us. A nation of people in debt up to their necks who are encouraged to follow a pretty screwy agenda under the guise of patriotism.

I think you are smart enough to realize that Bushie has no annointing from God to attack Iraq and to "spread the fires of liberty to the whole world." His words, not mine. I just want to prosper and have peace without robber barons in my pocket at every turn and to have a chance for my grandkids to have a dream without fighting illegal aliens for jobs and education.

At least we have a chance to see our environment recover from corporate pollution and maybe to give a hand up to those who are standing on street corners holding signs that say, No work, please help.

This mess is much bigger than you or me but maybe we can somehow reach a few who have assumed this mob mentality.
