A good test of Mr. Phillipps' sincerity would be an offer to pay him a monthly pittance equal to his current social security check in return for a lump sum deposit of the payroll taxes taken from him....He claims to have paid the maximum since 1955....Even at a 4-5% return, it would have compounded into a very nice figure. He might be fool enough to fall for it....but I doubt it.
