Man peed way out of avalanche

Sorry, this story is obviously bogus.

Even assuming he could drink 3 liters an hour (an enormous amount), and could piss an equal amount per hour, by the time the next hour arrived his first batch of piss would have already refrozen. I am of course assuming sub-freezing conditions.

Even with 30 liters of hot water it seems unlikely he could have accomplished this task.

Have you ever poured warm water over a frozen car key-lock? 98% of the water doesn't stay where you want it. Unfreeezing a car lock in this manner often requires several pitches or warm water. Furthermore on a cold enough day I've noted that some of the water will refreeze on the door before it hits the ground.

I won't even go into the issue of how this man managed to aim his melting device through a snow encrusted window.

This sounds like the kind of story a man might make up to explain the untimely disappearance of 60 one-half liter bottles of beer.

Nice try though. Lol.
