First of all, I do not equate "conservative people" with "rednecks." Why anyone would think they are the same I have absolutely no idea. I certainly have never said that.

And as I pointed out yesterday, there are a whole bunch of professional movie reviewers who used exactly that word REDNECK to describe the family in the film. And may I remind you that I did not call anyone a redneck, nor would I. I used it as an adjective, a descriptive term.

I think you should join RD in writing to that extremely long list of publications that published the reviews calling the family redneck, and voice your complaint to them.

Then I think you should see Million Dollar Baby. After you have, please drop back by and tell me how you would best describe that family. I am dying to know.

Why are you here at Feelies, anyway? I thought you started your own thread to make fun of mine (a popular avocation at SI for people with nothing but time on their hands). Is that not enough for you?
