King was stridently against the Vietnam war. You do understand that I assume. King was also steadfast in his belief in non-violence -- a military invasion with massive civilian deaths does not sound like his style. Nor would he see the use of torture as mankind at its finest. As for giving the UN the finger, that does not sound like King.
