You are looking at a small minority of Christians that are politically motivated, and considering them to be the majority, in error.

Wrong again haq, or should it be hack! You make this stuff up or do you really not understand politics today? The Republican party needs the religious right to get elected. it's not a minority! it has given the Republicans the presidency election after election. its a large block of voters, a political power. It started with the Christian Coalition and Pat Robertson and has grown. Now the Republicans pay homage to the religious rights issues to get their votes. The government is now forcing religious values on the country which is exactly what the founding fathers wanted to avoid.

You're just pissed off at Republican Christians because of your own political leanings. You claim to be a libertarian, but sound more like just a plain old liberal/socialist.

Wrong again! I don't have any political leaning except individual rights over the state. The republicans have abandoned individual liberty. The Democrats have championed certain individual rights in a narrow band but have always been pro government over the individual. I want nothing to do with either. The libertarians take individual rights to a ridiculous extreme but they are the only party that is for the individual over the state today. So I will go there.
