Sidney, It is true that the Christian block has helped to get Bush elected, but those that are radical, with the intention of having a say so in the policies if the administration, is still a small minority. You are lumping all Christians into one pile, and that ain't the way it is.
I have told you before, that I am for all of the individual rights of the citizen, but I am a realist, and know that will never happen in the world we live in today, so I feel that it is necessary to support the lesser of two evils. Consider that a large portion of Democrats are in favor of abortion, for any reason including convenience, see nothing wrong with homosexual marriages, have no goal to slow down the rapid growth of pornography, and for America to become just another cog in the gear of a one world government. Is that what you want? I don't think so. But one must vote for someone or the worst of the two will have a better chance of getting elected. That may not be the perfect option, but you need to get used to the truth that the Libertarian party will never get a candidate elected as President of the US. So what are you going to do? Sit on your hands, and bitch about the government? Now, that will do a lot of good. NOT!!!! |
