multinational operation assets already held in US$ ???

that sounds inconsistent and incorrect
each passing month at earnings time, we hear of multinatls enjoying a lift from conversion of foreign earnings into US$

if that is so, then that implies they were held in foreign currencys
not in USDollars

or are we talking about EuroDollars held in Europe, but in US$ denomination ???
if so, then maybe not inconsistent and incorrect
to be honest, unsure what exact form of "money" a EuroDollar is
wondered for long time if it is really a bond since it contains a yield
I suspect it is some of both
time for Mishedlo to surface here (PLEASE)

agreed on salubrious to US soil, but doubt to US Economy
if corporations are flush with cash, but are not investing it inside the USEcon, then repatriation will only add to their surfeit of cash held, unspent, uninvested

I still believe a whopping sum will be converted to US$
but the timing will coincide with the challenge of DXY=80
THE LINE IN THE SAND
BELOW WHICH IS THE "BATTAN DEATH MARCH"
