So did you like the Horse Whisperer? Did you read the book?

I thought the book was better than the movie. I did not like Robert Redford at all, although I did like Kristin Scott Thomas. She is one of my favorite actresses.

Is anyone watching the PBS series Island at War- Masterpiece Theatre? It's about the Channel Islands, and it's very interesting. Great story, and an overlooked bit of history for me- I never really had put the Channel Islands into the picture of what happened during WWII. I'm happy to be able to fill in that piece of the historical puzzle for myself.
