I believe chances are that the bad guys may need a rest and take that after the election happened in spite of their maximum efforts to derail it. Chances are that Bush Jr. might indeed be remembered 10 years from now for initiating the democracy trend in the Muslim Middle East.

Of course our Libs, who have been watching this like spectators of a football match, secretly hoping for their own country to come out as losers while betting on the bad guys to prove them right, may feel lousy about this. I mean, this is a case where political orientation counts more than their loyalty towards their own country.

Where else on Earth have we seen that? Quite unique I would say.
