Having lived through the Draft era I believe wholeheartedly that the draft would ONLY be good for the DRAFTEES not the Armed services. Frankly, almost EVERYONE who ever served in any service has benefitted IMHO but the Military benefits most from Career people who have the drive and the inclination to stay the course to learn the complicated method of warfare we wage today. I cant see much use for a 2 year draftee militarily, so called CANNON FODDER is no longer part of our method of operation. jdn
