Glenn, MCIP is to me, a much better value than T. lower cost to acquire, more cash on the books, lot less debt. T has the name and a lot of "enterprise" biz. MCIP still carries a huge amount of daily traffic on its backbone. Let the feeding frenzy begin! (I took a position in MCIP Thursday morning, after the latest SBC/T rumors surfaced).
FON/NXTL is going to attract a lot of attention. AT (Alltel) too.
and don't forget the crapper Q - Qwest - the old USWest.
I think VZ and BLS have to make some moves quickly. larry
