I think everyone expected the Shias and Kurds to turn out, the wild card has and still is the Sunnis. Nothing has changed, except that the Kurds and Shias are gaining in legitimatizing their hold on government. I still don't see a peaceful end. And you can bet Bush's "resounding success" will be followed with resounding blasts.
