We have to start putting people like this away for extended time in addition to taking their cars and maybe homes. I don't understand why we aren't. If a person wants to get stewed daily - more power to 'em! Just don't F***ing drive - PERIOD.

Spring Green Man Faces 10th Drunken Driving Charge
46-Year-Old Accused Of Trying To Ram Police Squad

POSTED: 8:41 am CST January 31, 2005

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- A man who allegedly tried to ram a police squad car in Evansville has been charged with his tenth offense for drunken driving.

David Norsman, 46, of Spring Green, was also charged Thursday with obstructing an officer, operating after license revocation, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

A woman called police at about midnight Wednesday because he was pounding on her door and threatening to smash her car windows, according to a criminal complaint.

When a police officer pulled her squad in the driveway behind Norsman's pickup truck, he backed toward the squad car.

The complaint said the officer drove out of his way, and Norsman's truck got stuck at the end of the driveway.

A sheriff's deputy then drew his pistol and ordered Norsman onto the ground. Norsman allegedly didn't comply and walked toward them. The two grabbed Norsman and tried to handcuff him, but he allegedly refused to put his hands behind his back until they sprayed him with pepper spray.
