That's what he said. He also seemed to carry around
a grudge against Saddam. Now, he can't use the
WMD argument any longer so he has to think of something
new such as liberating the Iraqis from Saddam and
imposing Bush's Law on them.

In the countries around Afghanistan there are dictators
who are equally as brutal as Saddam but Rummy and
Bush chose to ignore the way the dictators treat
their citizens. Instead, they installed US military
basis in those countries. In one of the "stans" I read awhile back that a thriving prostitution business had sprung
up around the American soldiers presence.
