You never know. Someone in Canada might act positively without US leadership some time. They have survived just fine without the US telling them how to run their country. If they continue on the present course of driving us away, they will survive without us. Americans would prefer amiable rations with Canadians, but we will not bow down before them begging permission to do what is right.

Right now, Iraqis love Americans and British. They know they owe their freedom to our President's backbone. Do not think we can rest on our laurels like Canada would like to. People quickly forget what you did for them just a short time ago. The questions always, "What have you done for me lately?"

America is the most generous nation on earth, and probably in the history of the earth. We are hated by those who are jealous of our success despite our generosity, and perhaps because of it. If we are being helpful because we need the admiration, then we will be disappointed with the result.
