Hello David:
Well put...but we should all remember the fantasy is just that. A fantasy. Princess Diana will live in the hearts of those that care to carry her in their hearts. I will.

I would like to take this time to elude the horror that has filled all of us lately and get back to reality like this so called Honda priced Hyundai of a stock called DLGC. So it would appear...as has been eluded to me by my peers and financial advisors. And the like.

David first I want you to know I respect your technical knowledge. One does not have to look very deep to see that you are an experienced enginneer and I hope to learn more from you in the future. Maybe you might remember that I once commended you and your expertise about 3 months back.

Secondly, I think you stepped on me pretty hard. My points are really not of technical merit as I ramble on but of a philosophical way to get my views and messages to people that might stop look and listen to what I say...all related to the building and marketing of the telecommunications infrastructure in this explosion of a digital age that we are so damned exhilarated about. Well, I am, anyway! You have no idea how important it is to me to get my message out to those not as lucky as myself, or as literate, or as technically inclined as myself. I know. Technically, I have just enough knowledge to step on myself or get stepped on by the tongue-in-cheek individuals that wants to cut me open or show the world how smart he is.

As for myself I judge and expect to be judged not by my problems but by my offerings to society. On the SI threads, I suppose that is what I can give or teach of my knowledge about Computer Information Science. I would add CTI to that on the Dialogic thread. And take allittle too. If I am wrong in teaching, fine, please tell me....but remember, we are out here in front of the world with our integrity at stake. Not to mention some pride, too. To me, that is very important. I think it would be to you too.

Back to the multi-tasking David...Why in the world would two companies like Intel and Microsoft market an architecture like the 0386 and release it with an OS like Windows 3.0, 3.11 that continued to step on itself when trying to do the virtual machine thing? I know that answer in a marketing sense and alittle of it technically. There is also an answer for people to explain in a deep technological way that will loose most of us in the first minute. I have choosen not to go that route.

Respectfully, I have always felt that philosophically, all man/women are able to comprehend the thought or information being conveyed...as equals.

Best wishes to all.
