I understand what you're saying. It's just that you're wrong. Boudin and Gilbert became "former" WU members when the cell door clanged shut on them. I admit they were likely the last active members though. BTW, Gilbert seems not to have become "former" at all. He has written a book entilted No Surrender. He says he is a political prisoner. And describes himself and Boudin as "allied white revolutionaries" not Black Liberation Army members: ....
