NI,

Another interesting point is that there tends to be serotoninemia associated with autism, hence part of the theory(primarily in regards to part of what might have been occurring in the cns) leading to using pondimin use for treatment in the past(well before the anti-obesity treatment craze). For some it was very helpful, fwiw. My point is that there is no incredibly high rate of valvular fibrosis, etc. in these patients, so there would theoretically need to be something more to this than simply increased peripheral seritonemia. These systems are only just now beginning to open up their secrets to us, and my guess is that we aren't even close to figuring out the intricacies, let alone the whats and hows of the meds involved.

Regards,

Marshall
