I think bird flu is already a problem in the area. Vietnam is shutting down poultry production in bird flu areas and the number of familial clusters continues to grow. Today's LA Times has a piece of the easier transmission news.google.com The next red flag would be infection in a health care worker. After that the virus will spread around the world in a matter of days. Chaos will follow a few weeks after the spread. Pandemic preparedness is still a joke, but when the pandemic hits, there will be many serious questions, but things will get VERY messy.
