Actually, It's Dawson Geophysical from Midland, Texas. They have 5 seismic crews working on land in the US and are expecting to start an additional crew in the fall. I suggest that you read the S-10 report on this company and others in the seis-biz. Dawson is a pure play in that they are not doing marine work, don't have a data library (to my knowlege) and do not take % of wells or acreage in lue of payment. Others in the seis-biz (in a general order of size) are ; Geco-Prakla (subsidiary of Schlumberger) Western Geophysical ( owned by Western-Atlas) CGG (on French stock exchange) Veritas DGC (VTS on NYSE) 3-D Geophysical (TDGO) Universal Seismic Associates (USAC) Input Output (IO on NYSE) provides high end recording systems to seis-co's Thats' all for now, got to go.
